잔을 돌려 향을 깨우면 맑은 밀짚빛이 벽을 타고 기름지게 흐른다. 코끝에 가져가면 클라이넬리시 특유의 마른 미네랄과 파라핀, 왁스가 층층이 피어오른다. 한 모금 머금으면 55.9도가 레몬과 라임, 부드러운 허브의 결을 혀 위로 맑게 밀어낸다. 삼킨 뒤에는 우롱차 같은 은은한 떫음과 시트러스가 서늘하게 이어지며 부르봉 호그스헤드가 다듬은 하이랜드 20년의 깨끗한 왁스 캐릭터를 또렷이 남긴다.
