Tasting Notes
맑은 황금빛이 잔에 은은하게 어린다. 1987년 증류된 클라이넬리시는 풀 향의 옅은 연기와 타르, 엔진 오일과 오래된 연장을 떠올리게 하는 왁스 같은 향을 층층이 드러낸다. 55.6도의 스피릿은 입안에서 시가와 씁쓸한 오렌지, 소금기 어린 럼과 분필, 흰 후추의 결을 예리하게 풀어놓는다. 이 증류소 특유의 미네랄과 밀랍이 마법처럼 되살아나고, 여운은 시트러스와 왁스의 뒷맛을 남기며 길고 또렷하게 이어진다.

yeah, there, some Brora character, with some grass smoke, mustard, ointments, plaster, tar, old tools, engine oil, rusty old tins, earth, even touches of manure, whiffs of burning lamp oil, then orange peel, tangerines starting to rot or to become ‘very overripe’… The magic happens again! With water: amazing waxy/mineral/citrusy/earthy development. Everything’s in place, just like in the John Coltrane Quartet (say A love supreme)

the kind of whisky that you want to marry. Amazing, almost slamming combination of cigars, bitter oranges, salted rum, chalk, white pepper, quinces, old herbal liqueurs (long forgotten recipes), toothpaste for gourmets (what?)… With water: exceptional. The smoky side grew much bigger
