Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 클라이넬리시 특유의 프루티한 왁스가 먼저 두드러지고, 금귤과 시트론, 옅은 석탄 훈연이 뒤따른다. 1997년 증류한 17년 숙성이 버번 배럴과 만나 밝고 산뜻한 과일 캐릭터를 드러낸다. 팰럿은 46도의 강도로 흐르며 시트론, 그레이프프루트, 소금기, 옅은 훈제 생선이 층을 이룬다. 하이랜드 몰트다운 왁스의 유질감이 시트러스의 산미와 균형을 잡는다. 피니시는 좋은 길이로 허브와 왁스, 사과의 여운이 남는다.

it’s always great to check the differences between an old, possibly ‘worm-coiled’ malt and a contemporary counterpart. Remember Clynelish’s stills are replicas of Brora’s. In this case, there’s all this fruity wax that’s a little louder than in the old 5, and much less mineral and phenolic notes.
