waahh! Immensely grassy, mineral and austere at full strength, at least at first sniffs. Wet rocks, tree bark, orange peel, pepper, graphite oil, cut grass, mother-of-thyme… Not easy, not easy… With water: wax in all states, then a slightly Brora-ish farminess and fresh walnuts. An maybe kippers…

restaurant Palate

oh yeah, a perfect one. Smashing freshness despite a huge body, with bags of wax, bitter oranges, pepper, mustard, roots (our beloved gentian, for example), lemongrass, liquorice wood… In short, very typical. With water: absolutely perfect Clynelish, juicy, waxy, herbal and slightly briny
