Tasting Notes
옅은 화이트 와인빛이 잔에 맑게 감돈다. 클라이넬리시가 1997년을 담아 14년을 보낸 이 보틀링은 코끝에서 젤리와 옅은 딸기 리큐어, 부드러운 곡물의 향을 먼저 내민다. 잔을 오래 두면 클라이넬리시 특유의 왁스 향과 감귤, 마른 풀이 겹친다. 다시 향을 맡으면 옅은 바닐라와 보리 내음이 또렷해진다. 50.7도의 도수로 입안에서는 은근한 후추와 흙의 기운, 옅은 훈연 같은 쌉쌀함이 함께 흐른다. 한 모금을 더 머금으면 옅은 꿀과 광물의 기운이 뒤따른다. 여운은 왁스 같은 질감과 옅은 단맛이 곧게 이어지며 오래 남는다.

we're very close, obviously. This one might be a notch softer and rounder, with added touches of jelly beans and a little strawberry liqueur. Other than that, it's almost the same whisky on the nose, which cannot be bad news. With water: quite different this time, it's more the grain that comes out
restaurant Palate
again, very little differences, maybe this one is a notch earthier this time. The pepper's even bigger as well, which gives it a bitterish peat-like profile that not everyone will enjoy as much as I do. More for us ;-). With water: they converge again. More or less the same whisky, although this one might have become smokier. Not too sure… A little bubblegum as well
