Tasting Notes
노즈는 신선하고 순수한 클라인리시 특유의 향으로 열리며 파인애플 시럽과 젖은 돌, 시트러스가 앞선다. 아메리칸 오크에서 10년을 보낸 이 핸드필 보틀링답게 왁스 같은 결이 은은하게 관통한다. 팰럿은 57.3도에서 버터 같고 허브가 살아나 차이브와 파슬리, 짭조름한 미네랄이 두껍게 입을 채운다. 물을 더하면 더욱 왁스 같은 클라인리시 특유의 질감이 명확하게 드러난다. 피니시는 길고 레모니하며 옅은 허브와 왁스, 꽃과 과일차 뉘앙스가 남는다.

happily this is very fresh and pure and Clynelishy at first nosing. No clouds of sawdust clogging things up. Instead it’s more on pineapple syrups, wet rocks, beach pebbles, sandalwood, gorse and citra hops. In fact there’s a rather nice citrus zing about the whole thing. A wee thread of wax running through it all as well. With water: funnily enough I do find a wee sawdusty note with water but it’s only slight and kept in check by bath salts, dried seaweed, wildflowers, olive oil and plenty freshly chopped and muddled herbs
restaurant Palate
buttery and herbal on arrival. Chopped chives, parsley, nettles, crisp grassy Sancerre and getting nicely saline. Some notes of Edinburgh rock, sweet pastries and American cream soda. With water: gets more waxy and traditionally ‘Clynelish flavour’ now. White jellybeans, hints of pastis, eucalyptus throat sweets and a light chalky note
