오래 묵은 나무 그늘 같은 갈색이 잔 안에 고요하게 깔려 있고 가장자리엔 옅은 주황이 돈다. 옥수수 시럽의 단내와 모카의 쌉쌀함이 먼저 올라오고 정향이 그 사이를 파고들며 향의 결을 넓힌다. 입안에서는 진한 캐러멜이 먼저 자리를 잡고 뒤이어 호밀의 알싸한 결이 또렷해진다. 증류소가 직접 담아낸 이 위스키의 끝맛은 담뱃잎과 마른 오크로 천천히 풀린다.
