Tasting Notes
잔을 가볍게 흔들자 23년 어란의 옅은 골드빛이 잔 벽을 따라 천천히 흘러내린다. 잔을 코끝에 가져가면 세컨드필 버번 호그스헤드가 길어준 잘 익은 사과, 옅은 갯내, 보리 사탕 향이 또렷이 깃든다. 한 모금을 머금으면 51.4도의 알코올이 매끄럽게 입천장을 덮으며 꿀과 시트러스 껍질로 발전한다. 위스키 지니어스 시리즈가 1996년 어란의 활기를 단정하게 옮긴다. 잔을 입가에서 살짝 떼고 다시 가져가면 바닐라와 코코넛 향이 또렷하게 다시 떠오른다. 삼킨 뒤에도 어란 섬의 청량한 바람이 길게 따라온다.
