Tasting Notes
배럴에서 17년을 보낸 숙성이 아란의 산뜻한 과일 향을 한층 둥글게 다듬었다. 버번 우드의 바닐라와 함께 잘 익은 배, 시트러스, 보리 단맛이 또렷하게 드러난다. 입에서는 꿀과 사과, 가벼운 크림이 매끄럽게 번지고 49.2도의 도수가 부드럽게 받쳐준다. 2002년 증류된 세월이 거친 기운을 덜어내 깔끔함을 더했다. 아일랜즈 몰트다운 옅은 바다 내음과 과일의 여운이 잔잔히 잠겨 있다.

mango and peach juices, blended together, plus funny vegetables such as Brussels sprouts (sorry Carsten, but I like Brussels sprouts) and salsify. The thing is that it works. Some fermentary notes, fresh wine, wash, also bananas and ripe plums. Intriguing and lovely nose
restaurant Palate
classic coffee-schnapps, with indeed some light coffee and notes of apricot/marillen eau-de-vie, almonds, guavas spirit… Has anyone ever been mad enough to try distilling guavas, by the way?
timer Finish
rather long, this time with a salty touch. A bit more rustic at this point – but you could claim that Brussels sprouts ARE rustic
