Tasting Notes
잔을 흔들면 옅은 장밋빛 도는 금빛이 잔 벽을 타고 흐른다. 코를 가까이 대면 아란 섬다운 산뜻한 과일과 포트 캐스크가 더한 붉은 베리, 자두 향이 올라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 1996년 빈티지 18년의 풍미가 잘 익은 딸기와 보리 단맛으로 혀에 퍼지고, 46도가 부드럽게 번진다. 목을 넘기면 포트의 달콤한 베리와 가벼운 향신료가 깔끔하게 따라온다.

rather more ‘middle-of-the-road’ than the previous ones, that is to say more fully on grains, barley, bread, pastries. I also do seem to find a touch of asparagus cooking water – or cabbage – that makes it just a notch sulphury. I would not call this a nosing whisky
restaurant Palate
we’re going more towards the TWE, but it’s got a buttery side this time, while the eggs; I mean, the asparagus aren’t totally gone. Too bad, because other parts are lovely, especially the marmalade and the orange cake. Café latte. Good body
