호그스헤드에서 20년을 보낸 시간이 어린 아란 증류소의 발랄한 과실향을 한층 깊게 익혔다. 잔을 가까이 하면 잘 익은 복숭아와 시트러스, 보리 단물이 또렷이 드러난다. 입에서는 51.3도의 도수가 꿀과 바닐라, 옅은 생강을 끌고 부드럽게 입을 채운다. 1996년 증류해 2013년 병입된 이 아일랜드 몰트는 맑은 볏짚빛을 띠며, 여운에는 상큼한 오크와 백후추의 산뜻한 기운이 길게 이어진다.
