잔을 천천히 흔들면 맑은 황금빛이 잔 안에서 환하게 빛난다. 코를 가까이 대면 잘 익은 사과와 꿀, 바닐라의 향이 산뜻하게 올라온다. 한 모금을 머금으면 54.7도의 도수가 혀를 또렷이 데우며 과수원 과일과 보리 단맛, 옅은 시트러스가 번진다. 호그스헤드에서 17년을 보낸 아란은 아란 섬의 젊은 증류소답게 깨끗하고 화사한 과실감을 또렷이 드러낸다. 목을 넘기면 사과와 꿀의 단맛이 산뜻하게 이어진다.

less complex than the oldies but not less appealing with its rich, silky profile all on very ripe plums, old roses and high-end oak. Also crystallised oranges and a very pleasant smokiness (wood). Very nice, very classic
