잘 익은 적동빛이 잔 속에서 따뜻하게 빛난다. 2008년을 증류한 아란 13년은 셰리 캐스크에서 잠들어 섬 위스키의 단단한 과실미를 품었다. 첫 향은 건포도와 자두, 다크 체리의 새콤달콤함이 진하게 피어오르고 옅은 계피가 뒤를 받친다. 58도의 도수가 입을 채우면 검붉은 과실과 흑설탕, 구운 견과의 고소함이 두꺼운 질감으로 흐른다. 여운은 마른 셰리와 후추, 가죽을 길게 남기며 따뜻하게 식어간다. 젊은 아란의 패기와 셰리의 깊이가 잘 맞물린다.
