노즈에서는 아란 셰리 호그스헤드가 빚은 붉은 베리와 오렌지 껍질, 바닐라 향이 명확하게 드러난다. 1996 빈티지 19년 숙성을 거친 이 보틀링은 54.7도의 도수에서 또렷하고 생기 있는 질감을 보이며, 입에서는 잘 익은 자두와 계피, 다크토피 풍미가 균형 있게 발전한다. 섬 증류소 몰트다운 깨끗한 과실미가 중심을 잡는다. 피니시는 셰리 향신료와 가벼운 오크가 길게 이어진다.

less complex than the oldies but not less appealing with its rich, silky profile all on very ripe plums, old roses and high-end oak. Also crystallised oranges and a very pleasant smokiness (wood). Very nice, very classic
