Tasting Notes
짙은 마호가니빛이 잔 속에 깊게 잠긴다. 셰리 벗에서 18년을 보낸 아란은 진저브레드와 초콜릿, 크리스마스 케이크를 떠올리게 하는 향신료의 향연을 펼친다. 55.2도의 스피릿은 입안에서 건포도와 정향, 파이프 담배의 진한 풍미를 겹겹이 밀어붙이는 셰리 몬스터로 다가온다. 물을 더하면 라즈베리와 초콜릿이 부드럽게 열리고, 여운은 초콜릿과 마멀레이드, 옅은 소금기를 남기며 길게 이어진다.

big. Spices, gingerbread, chocolate, Christmas cake, Linzertorte, then peonies and lilies and lastly, pine needles and more cloves and caraway. Merry Christmas! With water: adds touches of cigars and cedar wood, a little coffee and some wonderful praline, all for Christmas
restaurant Palate
a powerful sherry monster, with a lot of punch, spices, jams and, well, slices and slices of fruitcake. Corinth raisins, cloves and pipe tobacco (I remember when I used to smoke pipes more than 25 years ago, there was a very heavy/moist tobacco called Borkum Riff. It was great but it used to ruin my palate). With water: perfect now. Just like its bro, it needs water to become fully balanced. More chocolate and tobacco, more spices but also more raspberries and other red fruits. Very Christmascaky (?)
