잔을 흔들면 셰리 호그스헤드가 물들인 짙은 황금빛이 잔 안에서 일렁인다. 코끝에 가져가면 아란 특유의 잘 익은 과일 위로 건포도와 계피 향이 부드럽게 겹쳐 올라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 18년 숙성이 빚은 오렌지 마멀레이드와 견과의 단맛이 매끄럽게 흐른다. 삼키고 나면 정향과 오크의 향이 53도의 온기와 함께 혀 안쪽에 잔잔히 남는다.
