잔을 흔들어 향을 깨우면 아란답게 후추 뿌린 꽃과 블랙커런트, 풍선껌 같은 향이 독특하게 솟아오른다. 물을 더하면 사하라의 민트 차처럼 시원한 허브가 번진다. 55도의 이 1996년 15년산을 한 모금 머금으면 비스킷 같은 몰트에 담배와 모로코 향신료, 프랄린이 겹쳐 온다. 넘긴 자리에는 라스 엘 하누트를 떠올리게 하는 향신료가 목 안쪽에서 오래 이어진다.

pretty good. A biscuity and malty/spicy arrival, then more tobacco and Moroccan spice mix. Stuff that would resuscitate a dead camel. With water: some candied notes, praline, candy sugar, gingerbread, speculoos… In short, from Morocco to Belgium
