Tasting Notes
맑은 금빛이 잔 속에 부드럽게 고인다. 셰리 호그스헤드에서 십구 년을 보낸 아란 1996은 아란 섬의 젊은 증류소가 빚어낸 실크 같은 풍미를 자랑한다. 잔을 기울이면 잘 익은 자두와 오래된 장미, 고급스러운 오크 위로 설탕에 절인 오렌지와 은은한 나무 연기가 겹친다. 54.8도의 입안에서는 쌉쌀한 오렌지와 매끄러운 오크, 망고 케이크의 달큰함이 부드럽게 흐른다. 바닐라와 오렌지 케이크의 단맛이 혀를 감싼다. 여운은 예상보다 길고 깔끔하며 균형 잡힌 결로 마무리된다.
