클라이드 만의 아란 섬, 온화한 해양성 기후 속에서 자란 아란 몰트가 활발한 오크와 만나 화사한 개성을 드러낸다. 잔에는 깊은 금빛이 감돈다. 리필 셰리에서 10년을 보낸 1995 빈티지는 바나나와 망고, 커스터드와 아카시아 꿀의 향을 화려하게 피워 올린다. 50도의 도수는 입안에서 리몬첼로와 커피, 크런치 땅콩버터의 풍미를 매끄럽게 감아 흐른다. 활발한 오크가 열대 과일의 화사함에 바닐라와 나무의 층을 더한다. 섬에서 자란 이 보틀링은 바나나와 리퀴드 프랄린의 크리미한 단맛을 여운으로 남긴다.

ah, active oak! You could almost believe this is Amrut, honestly. Bananas, mangos, custard, acacia honey, sandalwood, chamomile tea, orange blossom, honeysuckle, cigarette tobacco (say Benson & Hedges Gold – nosed my sister in law’s pack very recently - with the most honourable intentions). With water: perhaps a little oak, pencil shavings, sawdust, joiner's workshop… well I’m sure you get the idea

fantastic. Limoncello and coffee, cappuccino, old Grand-Marnier, Mandarine Impériale, crunchy peanut butter… With water: once again, the oak comes out and gives this lovely baby an obvious bourbony side
