Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 깨끗한 보리 향 위로 바닐라와 옅은 꽃 향, 젖은 흙이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 아란 14년 화이트 스태그는 은매화와 유칼립투스, 민트 같은 상쾌한 허브의 결을 펼친다. 팰럿은 46도에서 시럽에 절인 오렌지와 오렌지 케이크, 바닐라 크림, 졸인 배가 또렷하게 발전하며 꿀과 맥아의 단맛이 뒤를 받친다. 셰리 캐스크의 단맛이 원액의 상쾌함과 균형을 잘 잡는다. 피니시는 중간 길이로 달큰한 맥아의 잔향이 은은하게 남는다.

pretty perfect clean barleyness, with some vanilla, a flowery touch, then a little damp earth and anything from a Corsican forest, that is to say myrtle, eucalyptus, mint, and caraway. Well not sure caraway freely grows in Corsica, have to check that next time I’m there
restaurant Palate
excellent. I’ve often noticed that Arrans style could stem from Speyside, and this a good example. Orange in syrup, orange cake, vanilla cream, a touch of stewed pears, some maple syrup, some malt, some honey… All easy and good
timer Finish
medium, a little more candied/malty. I’ve sometimes called this style ‘Chivassy’, but I wouldn’t want to ruffle (even) more feathers over there in Scotland. Nah, too late…
