잔을 기울여 천천히 돌리면 1974년 증류된 글렌리벳이 옅은 황금빛을 드러낸다. 코를 가까이 가져가면 오크 캐스크에서 온 꿀과 잘 익은 사과, 가벼운 맥아 향이 차례로 다가온다. 55.2도의 한 모금을 혀 위에 올리면 16년이 빚은 배와 바닐라의 단맛이 또렷이 번진다. 삼킨 자리에는 마른 풀과 시트러스 껍질의 산뜻함이 천천히 사그라든다.

ah, some fruits, at last! Big lemon and apples, heavy grapefruits and then this very grassy thing. Between harshness and fruitiness. A very lively profile. With water: behaves exactly like the 1978, becoming very zesty and fruity. Does marc de chenin blanc exist?
