Tasting Notes
깊은 호박빛이 잔 속에 그윽하게 잠긴다. 스페이사이드의 명가 글렌리벳을 1964년부터 25년 숙성한 이 보틀링은 코끝에 파인애플과 꿀, 오래된 오크의 향을 우아하게 펼친다. 53.4도의 매끄러운 질감이 입을 감싸며 잘 익은 망고와 보리 사탕, 가벼운 향신료가 차례로 피어난다. 끝에는 열대 과일의 달큰함과 은은한 오크의 온기가 길게 남아 60년대 글렌리벳이 머금은 세월의 품격을 전한다.

kind of closed, or rather all on chocolate, which is what might happen with many old sherry monsters. Okay, maybe fruit ganache, blackcurrants and menthol… With water: cocoa powder, dust, ground coffee, gravel, fresh concrete… Wouldn’t you define this as ‘austere’? The driest kind of sherry, and yet I did not find any walnuts

coffee-schnapps. And the schnapps would rather be cassis eau-de-vie. It’s very leafy sherry, very green and grassy. With water: cocoa here and cocoa there, plus, again, drops of crème de cassis (from Dijon, naturally)

quite long, dry, and, you got it, chocolaty. Some mint too, so that could be After Eights
