스페이사이드 고지의 맑은 샘물로 이름을 알린 글렌리벳이 1964년에 증류해 1976년에 병입한 이 12년산은, 반세기를 건너온 옛 시대의 풍미를 담은 보기 드문 기록이다. 잔에는 맑고 옅은 황금빛이 감돈다. 코에는 들꽃과 잘 익은 사과, 보리사탕의 향이 섬세하고 고전적으로 피어오른다. 40도의 부드러운 질감이 입안에서 꿀과 배, 옅은 풀향을 둥글게 풀어놓는다. 여운은 맑은 곡물과 은은한 미네랄이 깔끔하고 가볍게 잦아든다.
