Tasting Notes
황금이 깃든 호박빛이 잔 속에 잔잔히 잠겨 있다. 글렌리벳의 스카란 싱글 캐스크 19년산은 57.7도의 도수에 어울리는 단단한 짜임을 안고 잘 익은 사과와 야생화 꿀, 옅은 시트러스의 향을 끌어올린다. 한 모금이 입을 풍성하게 채우며 바닐라 비스킷과 마른 풀잎, 흰 후추의 결이 미끄러지듯 이어진다. 길게 이어지는 여운에는 따스한 오크와 가벼운 향신료가 또렷이 깃들어 있다.

barley, milk chocolate, brioche, cakes, fudge, butterscotch, malty beer. Fine, just not out of this world, but I suppose that’s down to a pretty ‘commercial’ (nothing bad to that) profile. Not really characterful, shall we say. With water: Ovaltine!
restaurant Palate
very good this time, I have to say. Ale, marmalade, sour beer, chestnuts, and loads of chocolate. Stout. With water: oranges come out. And more stout
timer Finish
rather long, brioche-y and chocolaty, with really a lot of Ovaltine/Ovomaltine in the aftertaste. A little water, and presto, breakfast!
