잔을 눈앞에서 기울이면 진한 앰버가 두껍게 뭉쳐 흐른다. 코를 대면 버터와 구운 견과가 앞서고 바닐라가 그 아래 넓게 깔린다. 한 모금 머금으면 캐러멜이 묵직하게 입을 채우고 후추가 뒤에서 밀고 들어온다. 삼킨 자리에는 마른 나무와 다크 초콜릿이 오래 걸려 쉽게 물러나지 않는다. 다시 향을 열면 향신료가 훨씬 뚜렷해진다. 10년을 채운 켄터키 버번의 정공법이 그대로 보인다.
