Tasting Notes
잔을 코끝에 가져가면 셰리 몬스터라 불릴 만큼 진한 향이 올라오는데 화약과 호두, 블랙 트러플과 시가, 볶은 커피콩이 겹겹이 피어난다. 잔을 흔들면 흙내음과 고기 육수 같은 짙은 셰리 뉘앙스가 이어진다. 잔에 코를 가까이 대면 볶은 커피와 옅은 흙내음이 한층 짙게 드러나고 크리미한 질감이 잔 벽을 천천히 감싼다. 한 모금 머금으면 59도의 기름지고 크리미한 질감이 혀를 감싸며 세비야 오렌지와 생강, 감귤의 상큼함이 번진다. 삼키고 나면 15년 글렌리벳 싱글 캐스크다운 여운이 후추와 레몬, 꿀이 어우러진 향을 남기며 꽤 길게 이어진다.

this one has even more sherry, and I guess we could almost call it a sherry monster. Gunpowder and walnuts, black truffles, cigars, grounded coffee beans, beef stock, earth, Maggi… You know the song, don’t you. Perfect
restaurant Palate
fatter then the OB, almost creamy, with more Seville oranges and even ginger, then a perfect citrusy development (tangerines, blood oranges), and rather less dry sherriness than on the nose. It’s a very rich old Glenlivet, having said that, and it would become spicier by the second. Nutmeg, cinnamon mints, coriander…
