it's rather more flowery and fruity than other official Glenlivets, a little more perfumy as well (our beloved old roses - think gewürztraminer). No litchi though, rather quite a lot of vanilla and then apple pies and juice. Maybe hints of sour wood. It's rather punchy for a 'light' whisky. Pleasant nose

less body now, it's maybe a tad flabby (CHECK) but otherwise it's pleasant again, 'modern', quite spicy (cinnamon galore). More apple pie, vanilla fudge, then white pepper…
timer Finish
quite short but clean, on vanilla, caramel and cinnamon. Touches of white wine
