증류소에서 직접 채운 글렌리벳 12년이 맑은 황금빛으로 잔에 잔잔히 어린다. 향은 잘 익은 배와 흰 꽃, 꿀에 절인 보리의 부드러운 단내가 산뜻하게 솟는다. 캐스크 강도에 가까운 58.1도 원액은 물에 활짝 열려, 바닐라와 사과, 옅은 향신료가 매끄럽게 혀를 감싼다. 글렌리벳다운 우아하고 꽃 같은 균형이 깔끔한 여운으로 길게 이어진다.
