Tasting Notes
노즈는 첫 인상부터 드라이하고 살짝 스모키해 자갈과 그을음, 무르게 익은 사과와 건초, 시가와 호두에 금속성 뉘앙스가 더해져 옛 글렌리벳을 떠올리게 한다. 퍼스트필 아메리칸 오크에서 12년을 보낸 43.2도 보틀링답게 결이 또렷하다. 팰럿은 요즘의 글렌리벳 12년보다 훨씬 묵직해 새콤하고 떫은 사과와 자몽 껍질, 캔디 슈거에 금속성이 다시 드러나며 단단한 구조감을 보인다. 피니시는 길고 풍성하게, 거의 무겁게 이어지며 감초와 진한 차의 여운이 묵직하게 남는 보기 드문 12년이다.

it’s a dry and rather smoky one at first nosing, as older Glenlivets could be. Gravel and soot, then overripe apples, hay, cigars and walnuts, with a metallic touch. Some OBE must have happened, because it’s rather earthier than other old young Glenlivets
restaurant Palate
big stuff, much bigger than contemporary Glenlivet twelves. Sour and tart apples, grapefruit skin, candy sugar, plus these metallic touches again. Apple crumble and strong tea after a few minutes. Not too sure it’s clear that I like it…

long and ample, almost heavy, with some liquorice and more tea
