Tasting Notes
향의 도입은 1973년 아드벡 특유의 짙은 피트 연기와 타르 향이 주도한다. 15년 숙성에서 아일라의 강한 훈연과 옅은 과일, 미네랄이 또렷하게 발전한다. 46도의 도수에서 입은 그을린 보리 단맛과 요오드, 후추가 균형을 이룬다. 피니시는 재와 바다 향으로 길게 남는다. 옛 아드벡 특유의 강렬한 피트가 단단한 구조감으로 드러난다.

there’s a thousand times more fresh tar, fresh mastic, modelling clay, plus bitter herbs and seaweed, some leather, mutton suet, and charcoal… In short, this is far less ‘commercial’ than the very good Anthology, though I’m not entirely sure that’s the right word. Most importantly, there are virtually no fruits, if any at all

very dry, salty, like seawater run through a smoker, then bolstered with paraffin oil, smoked fish and even oyster. The tar emerges next and gains more and more ground

not all that long, but very waxy and resinous, and naturally saline. That ‘ashtray’ side coming back on the aftertaste
