아일라 남부 해안의 아드벡은 가장 강렬하면서도 정교한 피트로 추앙받는 증류소인데, 버번 캐스크에서 18년을 보낸 이 1993 빈티지는 그 야성이 한층 다듬어진 모습이다. 잔에는 맑은 황금빛이 감돌고, 코에는 타르와 모닥불 연기, 레몬, 바닷소금의 향이 날카롭게 솟는다. 56.9도의 입안에서는 강한 피트 훈연과 시트러스, 옅은 바닐라가 거침없이 번진다. 여운은 짭조름한 재와 후추, 마른 풀이 길고 강렬하게 이어진다.

I’d swear they pushed the US oak. This reeks of plankish vanilla and sawdust at first nosing, and you have to wait for a few seconds before you may experience more Ardbegness.
