잔을 가까이 하면 30년을 보낸 아드벡답게 거친 피트보다 잘 익은 훈연과 왁스, 열대 과일 향이 명확하게 드러난다. 버번 호그스헤드의 긴 숙성이 연기를 매끄럽게 다듬어 파인애플과 레몬의 단맛을 끌어올린다. 입에서는 47.7도의 도수 안에서 그을음과 망고, 옅은 소금기가 우아한 구조감으로 발전한다. 피니시는 정제된 훈연과 시트러스가 길게 이어지며, 올드 빈티지 아드벡 특유의 절제된 균형을 끝까지 보여준다.

Gravenstein apples, very ripe Williams pears, hints of smoked ham, precious shellfish like abalones, sea spray, notes of mashed potatoes, menthol... This Ardbeg seems to have ventured into another dimension, but we quite like it
