this Ardbeg is exceptionally smooth, with smoked fruits and flowers, if such a thing could exist. Gravenstein apples, very ripe Williams pears, hints of smoked ham, precious shellfish like abalones, sea spray, notes of mashed potatoes, menthol... This Ardbeg seems to have ventured into another dimension, but we quite like it
