짙은 적갈색이 잔 안에서 묵직하게 빛난다. 헨리 맥케나 10년의 향은 메이플과 버터를 두른 토스트로 열리고 그 위에 오렌지 껍질의 쌉쌀함과 옅은 정향이 얹힌다. 맛은 흑당과 바닐라가 두껍게 흐르다 중반부터 후추와 생강이 방향을 틀고 곡물의 기름기가 뒤를 받친다. 보틀드 인 본드의 50도는 여운에서 마른 오크와 다크 초콜릿으로 바뀌며 서서히 식는다.
