아로마는 캐러멜과 볶은 아몬드로 문을 연다. 뒤이어 건포도와 정향이 명확하게 드러난다. 입에서는 흑설탕의 진한 단맛이 입천장을 천천히 덮는다. 중반 이후 마른 오크가 개입해 단맛의 끝을 정리한다. 피니시에는 후추와 에스프레소가 남는다. 1999년 증류된 이 보틀링은 10년 숙성으로 오크의 쓴맛이 과하지 않게 자리 잡았다.
