Tasting Notes
맑은 밀짚빛이 잔 속에 투명하게 빛난다. 2001년에 증류해 20년을 채운 이 아드벡은 코끝에 짙은 타르와 장작 연기, 라임 껍질의 날카로움을 피워 올린다. 입에서는 그을린 숯과 후추, 바닐라의 단맛이 팽팽하게 맞서고 아일라 특유의 짭짤한 연기가 깊게 머문다. 51.4도의 도수 위로 재와 훈제 향이 메마르게 이어지는 여운으로 남는다.

bites you a wee bit, being greenish, mentholy, bitter, a tad rubbery too… Some salty lemons too but this sure is no classic, 'average' Ardbeg. With water: indeed, rubber, also artisanal amaretti and a large glass of retsina. This bitterish baby would leave marks on your tongue, should you quaff too much of it
timer Finish
long, much saltier and more medicinal now, but always with these bitter almonds and this wee peppery rubber, especially towards the aftertaste
