Tasting Notes
깊은 호박빛이 잔 속에 진하게 어린다. 아일라의 아드벡이 셰리 캐스크에서 빚은 이 1973년산은 반세기 전의 보틀로, 부드러워진 토탄 연기와 말린 과일, 가죽의 향을 코끝에 천천히 풀어놓는다. 입에 머금으면 건포도와 흑설탕의 단맛 위로 옅은 훈연과 타르가 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 46도의 단정한 도수가 오래된 향을 차분히 펼치고, 여운에는 그을린 오크와 다크 초콜릿, 마른 가죽의 잔향이 길게 이어진다. 전설적인 빈티지의 품격이 깊게 머문다.

there’s a thousand times more fresh tar, fresh mastic, modelling clay, plus bitter herbs and seaweed, some leather, mutton suet, and charcoal… In short, this is far less ‘commercial’ than the very good Anthology, though I’m not entirely sure that’s the right word. Most importantly, there are virtually no fruits, if any at all

very dry, salty, like seawater run through a smoker, then bolstered with paraffin oil, smoked fish and even oyster. The tar emerges next and gains more and more ground
