세월에 무뎌진 옅은 황금빛이 잔에 고요하게 어린다. 아일라 아드벡이 1975년에 증류해 스물네 해를 보낸 이 올드 몰트 캐스크는 누그러진 피트 연기 위로 파파야와 망고 같은 열대 과일의 단내를 의외롭게 피워 올린다. 50도의 술은 입안에서 타르와 훈제, 잘 익은 과일, 옅은 소금기를 절묘하게 엮어낸다. 긴 여운에는 식어가는 모닥불의 재와 달콤한 과일이 함께 남아 옛 아드벡의 깊이를 증언한다.
