잔을 코끝에 가져가면 1972년산 아드벡 특유의 트로피컬 과일 향이 가장 먼저 인사한다. 잔을 가볍게 돌리면 짙은 황금빛이 천천히 도는 가운데 27년이 다듬은 부드러운 피트 향이 깊게 머문다. 한 모금을 머금으면 50도의 둥근 알코올이 입을 데우며 망고와 파인애플의 단맛이 묵직하게 흐른다. 천천히 삼키면 아일라 피트의 매캐한 잔향과 짠 미네랄이 길게 따라온다.
