Tasting Notes
옅은 볏짚빛이 잔 속에서 날카롭게 빛난다. 버번 호그스헤드에서 11년을 보낸 아드벡답게 62.2도의 높은 도수 위로 니스와 시더 식초, 굴과 아세톤 같은 강렬한 해안의 향이 원시적으로 솟구친다. 물을 더하면 뿌리와 연기, 소금과 사워크라우트, 삼피어와 바닷물, 성게의 짭조름함이 자연 그 자체처럼 펼쳐진다. 1991년 증류해 카데나스가 병입한 이 아일라 몰트는 거칠고 날것 그대로인 피트의 힘이 압도적이며, 옅게 꿀을 머금은 여운 끝에 절인 순무와 멸치의 짠맛이 길게 남는다.
