Tasting Notes
오래 묵은 호박빛이 깊은 윤기를 머금고 잔에 잠긴다. 1975년 증류해 셰리 캐스크에서 21년을 보낸 아드벡은 세월이 다듬어 낸 피트를 보여 준다. 잘 마른 장작 연기와 요오드, 가죽 향이 묵직하게 솟아오른다. 48.9도의 도수에서 입은 그을린 다크 초콜릿과 절인 자두, 짭조름한 재의 맛으로 채워진다. 카데한스가 병입한 옛 아일라답게 거칠던 연기가 둥글게 익어 있다. 훈연의 잔향이 가슴 깊이 내려앉으며 천천히 식어 간다.

a beautiful mixture of sea air, light caramel and fresh vanilla. Hazelnuts, oysters, cider apples… A bonfire on the beach (now I’m talking like the Scotch Malt Whisky Society!) Very subtle, very delicate… Subtler than the usual Ardbegs. A thrill! Again some notes of Werther’s Originals

rather nervous, on pine syrup, tar liquor, burnt herbs… Some rubbery notes. Grilled Provence herbs, strong liquorice candies… Again it’s not overly complex on the palate, but very compact and satisfying (but not for newcomers, even if that sounds a bit selfish). 92 points .
