much yeastier, on beer and cider. Quite smoky. Apple skin, toasted bread, burnt cake… Less immediately ‘sexy’ than the other one and a little more spirity but still quite enjoyable, even if rather simple

pungent, spirity, burning… Ugh, what a beast! Peat, rubber, tar, burnt vegetables… Gets really acrid and bitter. Difficult to enjoy on the palate, this one. 80 points will do. Ardbeg 21 yo 1975/1996 (47%, Cadenhead Authentic Collection)
