Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 빈티지 아드벡 특유의 미네랄 피트와 함께 흑체리, 가벼운 송진 노트가 명확하게 드러난다. 1961 빈티지를 16년 숙성해 1980년 카덴헤드가 출시한 덤피 보틀답게 시간의 깊이가 균형 있게 발전한다. 노즈가 발달함에 따라 절제된 가죽과 짭조름한 미네랄이 한 층 더해진다. 팰럿은 절제된 토탄 연기, 다크 초콜릿, 시트러스 껍질이 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 46도의 도수가 단단한 구조감을 받친다. 피니시는 미네랄과 약한 페놀이 길게 이어진다. 빈티지 아드벡의 살아있는 흔적이다.

it’s definitely fruitier than the ‘2000s’ and closer to the grain, with more yeasty notes (not feinty), more lemon ad apples as well, more leather, more butter, more soot and more tar… And rather less peat. Sea water. In a certain way, it’s a little ‘dirtier’ and rawer but also a little less ‘commercial’. Curious about the palate…
restaurant Palate
rather bizarre… Starts rather well, peaty, maybe just a tad soapy (and with notes of lavender sweets)… But falls apart after less than one second, leaving a very weak middle with only touches of lemon drops and ink/paper. Strange…
timer Finish
medium long, very briny. Barley sugar. Rather bitter aftertaste
