노즈에서는 아드벡 특유의 짙은 토탄 연기와 타르, 약품 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 10년 숙성의 1992 빈티지답게 레몬과 옅은 왁스가 차례로 발전한다. 팰럿은 46.6도의 도수 위로 훈연한 보리와 후추, 가벼운 시트러스가 명확하게 드러나며 구조감이 단단하다. 피니시는 재 같은 스모크와 짭조름한 여운이 길게 이어지고, 클래식 아드벡다운 강렬한 균형이 끝까지 남는다.

typically beautiful mix of seawater, diesel, drying kelp, old rope and tar. An extremely pure expression of peat - the kind that is unique to 60s and 70s Ardbeg. The 40% abv leaves you with a curiously dissonant impression of fragility and power. Yet, the overall impression remains one of evocative beauty and peaty harmonics
