Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 아드벡 2002년 빈티지가 20년의 숙성을 거친 엑스 버번 캐스크의 영향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 50.2도의 알코올이 균형이 단단한 구조감을 받쳐 준다. 프라이빗 리저브답게 캐스크 영향이 절제되어 아드벡의 짙은 피트가 명확하게 드러난다. 한 모금 머금으면 훈제 레몬과 타르, 바닐라가 두꺼운 질감으로 흐른다. 피니시는 피트연기와 해풍이 길게 발전한다. 아일라 남부의 캐릭터가 또렷이 깃든다.

hot, very punchy, peppery, full of tar and ashes, chilli, glue, citrus skin (including the bitterer white stuff), peppery olive oil… This truly is a very robust Ardbeg. With water: there, citrus, apples, walnuts, grapefruit, seawater, seashells, fats…
timer Finish
long, fat, back on peppery olive oil, with the same kind of afterburn. Some shoe polish in the aftertaste (reminds me of some silly jokes in the army) and a few fruits
