ha, this starts right on beef bouillon, oxtail, mint and even goat meat. Wacky indeed, especially since it goes on with hints of Comté cheese and old barrels, then coffee-schnapps and lovage…Very entertaining if not very classic. Not to pour to your ‘non whisky neighbours’! Now, the palate could be disastrous, let’s see…

no, this isn’t bad at all. Powerful and very meaty, with a lot of very, very ripe fruits, prunes (huge), well hung game, chicory… What’s sure is that there's always something happening in any Glen Albyn! Gets a little rounder and softer after a moment, but there’s also a very faint bitterness (taste of still, rubber and burnt fruits.) Nothing too embarrassing that is
timer Finish
long, still powerful, a little rough again and more caramelised. Tangerine liqueur
