첫 모금을 오래 물고 있다가 삼키면 열기보다 단맛이 먼저 기억에 남는다. 캐러멜과 옥수수빵이 혀를 덮고 계피가 그 위에 얹힌다. 잔을 다시 흔들어 향을 맡으면 그을린 배럴과 볶은 아몬드가 앞에 선다. 넘긴 뒤에는 10년 숙성이 남긴 마른 오크가 입안을 정리하고 온기가 천천히 사라진다. 코로 숨을 내쉬면 구운 견과의 고소함이 다시 올라오고 온기만 가슴께에 남는다.
