Tasting Notes
Colour
pale gold
air Nose
extremely similar, just a little fruitier and less smoky. Slightly more flowery as well, with maybe a faint farminess. Just as enjoyable as its older sibling
restaurant Palate
again, very similar at the attack, maybe just a tad more full-bodied but also a little simpler, getting a little too ‘sweetish and tea-ish’ after a moment. The finish is a little longer but again, simpler, except for a little salt at the very end. 82 points . Linkwood 1990/2006 (45%, Gordon & MacPhail for La Maison du Whisky, first fill sherry butt #6951, 754 bottles)
