진한 마호가니 빛이 잔 속에 묵직하게 잠겨 있다. 링크우드가 1988년 증류되어 올로로소 셰리 호그스헤드에서 31년을 머문 흔적은 색에서부터 짙게 드러난다. 향에서는 마른 무화과와 호두, 검은 후추가 차례로 떠오르고 입에서는 48.2도의 절제된 도수가 진한 셰리의 단맛과 가죽으로 흐른다. 여운에는 올로로소의 견과류 풍미와 짙은 가향 담배가 오래 머문다.
