Tasting Notes
발그레한 구릿빛이 잔 안에서 곱게 일렁인다. 루비 포트 캐스크에서 마무리한 링크우드 2008은 라즈베리와 붉은 자두, 장미향이 화사하게 떠오른다. 53.7도의 도수가 입안에서 달콤한 베리 잼과 다크체리, 옅은 코코아의 풍미로 번지며 포트 와인의 과실감을 짙게 드러낸다. 링크우드 특유의 깔끔한 꽃향이 바탕을 잡아 주고 여운은 붉은 과실의 새콤달콤함이 길게 이어진다.

oh, ripe mirabelle plums and quince jelly, is this even beatable? And all these golden juicy sultanas, these whiffs of beeswax, of chestnut honey… We're certainly reminded of a distillery in Dufftown that starts with a B. I mean, its name. With water: ripe plums, ripe plums, ripe plums. A tiny metallic touch too (old coins, old copper wire and stuff)
restaurant Palate
rather a lot of candied fruits, dates, pears, figs, also spices, curry, cinnamon, nutmeg… It's not that it is very strong, but it feels pretty strong. Or is it me who's feeling weak? With water: awesome at first, even if some bitterish, drying herbs were awakened too. Peppered chartreuse, not too sure after all
