스페이사이드 엘긴 인근의 맑은 물과 온화한 풍토가 꽃향기로 이름난 링크우드를 길러냈다. 짙은 호박빛 잔에서 장미 같은 꽃향과 건포도, 흑설탕의 향이 어우러진다. 입에서는 퍼스트필 올로로소가 준 말린 과일과 견과 위로 링크우드 특유의 화사함이 겹쳐진다. 54.2도의 도수가 셰리의 단맛과 섬세함의 균형을 잡는다. 꽃향과 건과일의 여운이 길게 이어진다.

starts on sherry and cherries, slightly hot, slightly kirschy, with a little gunpowder in the background. Goes on with honey and caramel as well as a little dust and liquorice. With water: more grass, asparagus and honey sauce. A bag of liquorice rolls

hot and nervous. Bitter herbs, burnt cake, these cherries again and quite a few winey notes. Peach tree leaves. With water: becomes earthier. Tea and, yet again, liquorice

quite long, the kirsch being back as well as something unexpectedly medicinal. Camphor? Ginger?
